The project involved two EJGH clinics directed by Gregory Stewart: The Center for Brain Health and Professional Athlete Care Team (PACT). These clinics shared space in their downtown location, but the new location allowed for two separate clinics. KKA designed both clinics, creating efficient but comfortable spaces for each group. A third suite contains administrative offices.

The Center for Brain Health focuses on veteran care. Specialists help veterans address mild to moderate traumatic brain injuries.  Since patients visit the clinic for up to 3 weeks at a time, the facility becomes their home away from home. The suite includes six exam rooms and three offices.

The PACT clinic focuses on athlete care. Team members screen former NFL players for brain injuries and provide comprehensive, post-career care.  The clinic provides a secure environment where testing, imaging, diagnostic care, and consultations are available in one location. The suite includes 11 exam rooms, 6 offices, a triage room, and x-ray room.

Each clinic features a “living room,” which provides a comfortable space for patients to pass time between tests and consultations.  Both clinics also have large conference rooms to allow families to participate in consultations.
