Kennedy Kraft was tasked with renovating and updating several medical clinics in the EJGH complex. The challenge was not only to find homes for these relocated clinics within existing spaces, but to design clinics from both Tulane and EJGH in such a way that the aesthetics were consistent with LCMC branding. To that end, KKA worked with the LCMC marketing team to take conceptual ideas and develop them into hospital-wide design standards.
Each clinic had its own unique program requirements, including exam rooms, offices, nurse stations, waiting rooms, reception areas, break rooms, labs, and other support spaces. Project scopes ranged from complete buildouts to minor renovations of finishes. KKA worked with each user group to ensure that their specific needs were met.
In addition, KKA developed millwork designs and finish schedules that referenced the design standards developed with the LCMC marketing team. Though each clinic’s program is unique, applying this consistent design aesthetic resulted in a streamlined, updated look that enhances the patient experience while reinforcing the LCMC brand.
