Upgrade of an existing classroom to create an improved learning environment required the redesign and replacement of built-in millwork, fixed seating, finishes, and lighting. Technology upgrades, including new audio-visual equipment and integrated lighting controls, were paramount to the project’s success. Acoustical modifications to the existing HVAC system were incorporated to minimize noise from the adjacent corridors.
