Christie Badinger

Architect

Christie first showed interest in design as a child when she would collect home plan magazines to analyze the floor plans and rethink various options to improve flow and function. Her interest in architecture grew from there, as did her skill at identifying and solving design challenges. Christie has a keen eye for efficiency as well as beauty, and enjoys combining the two in her designs.

After receiving her Associates’ degree in architecture from Delgado Community College in New Orleans, Christie continued her pursuit for her Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture from the University of Houston and graduated magna cum laude in 2013.

While in Houston pursuing her Bachelor’s degree, Christie simultaneously worked for a large architecture firm within the hospitality group, developing national and international projects. After returning home to New Orleans, she expanded her portfolio to include a multitude of projects within healthcare, higher education, K-12, office, and light industrial. She believes that no matter the size, budget, or type, each project deserves the opportunity for careful and thoughtful planning and design.

With 15+ years of professional experience in Revit, Christie has trained numerous individuals, authored tutorials, established office standards, and created templates. She leads the firm’s development and production in Revit.

Christie serves on the Architecture Department Advisory Board committee for Delgado and in her free time, enjoys volunteering at Grace at the Green Light where she, along with others, feed breakfast to those in need.
