LRMC Outpatient Surgery

This project was an extensive expansion and renovation of 20,000 sf of the second floor of Lakeview Regional Medical Center.  The work was conducted in three phases, allowing the hospital to be fully operational during construction.  Phase one entailed the infill of a portion of an atrium to expand the Outpatient Surgery department into the attached Medical Office Building.  This increased the department from 16 beds to 28 beds, provided 4 new Endoscopy Procedure Rooms, and a new PACU with 7 patient care stations, including an ICU.  Phase two completed a new Operating Suite Storage Room, a partial renovation of 11 existing Outpatient Rooms and support spaces, and a new Cath Lab.  Phase 3 expanded the new PACU to a total of 13 patient care stations and completed the renovation of the existing Outpatient Rooms.
